A series of photographs devoted to the motif of mirror reflections becomes a story about the boundary between reality and illusion. Reflections in mirrors, glass, water, and metallic surfaces create an alternative view of the world—distorted, fragmented, sometimes more evocative than the object itself. The photographs capture moments suspended between what is real and what is merely apparent.

In Between
The In Between series of works revolves around the concept of time – an element that constantly flows through our lives, remaining simultaneously elusive and impossible to stop. Each frame is a simulacrum – an image that seems to be a captured reality, but is in fact its interpretation, an illusion, and a reflection of my imagination.
I create photographic collages from places that have momentarily stopped me and captivated me with their aura.
The series clearly explores the interpenetration of worlds – the real and the dreamlike.
Reflection also plays a significant role here – in water, in figures, or in time. It is a motif of duality, multiplication, and the question of identity. Reflection can be illusory and deceptive, but it also opens the door to reflection on our gaze and how it shapes the reality we perceive. From this perspective, the photographs align with the tradition of surrealism, attempting to juxtapose fragmented and irrational images into an evocative, almost poetic whole. This series is a visual story about time – its constant flow, the fleeting nature of experience, and attempts to capture through an image that is eternally elusive.
